Terms of service
By using Accomata, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
1.The service
Accomata is provided by Accomata.com LLC, a company registered in Wyoming, United States. It gives wholesalers and distributors online ordering for their customers, orders taken from email, delivery rounds for their drivers, invoice payments and a website, connected to QuickBooks Online.
2.Your account
- You need a QuickBooks Online subscription to use Accomata.
- You must be allowed to connect your business’s QuickBooks to Accomata.
- You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe.
- Your customers, drivers and staff can each have their own sign-in, and see only their part.
3.QuickBooks
- Accomata uses your QuickBooks information only to provide the service.
- You allow Accomata to read your customers, products, prices, invoices and payments.
- You allow Accomata to add to QuickBooks what the service needs: an estimate when a customer places an order, changes to it when the order is changed, customers and products you add or change through Accomata, and payments received through Accomata.
- You can disconnect Accomata from QuickBooks at any time.
4.Payments
- Card payments are only available once you have set up your own Stripe account. Your customers’ payments go to that account.
- Accomata may charge a platform fee, as set out in our current pricing. Stripe’s own fees apply separately.
- Extra AI is prepaid usage of our features at our prices, bought in US dollars. It has no cash value, is not refundable as cash, and never expires. Included monthly AI resets on your renewal date and does not carry over.
- Autopay and payment reminders are only switched on if you choose them.
- Accomata is not responsible for failed payments, or for disputes between you and your customers.
5.Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Accomata for anything illegal;
- try to see another business’s information;
- copy, take apart or scrape Accomata;
- use Accomata to send spam or emails people did not ask for.
6.Keeping Accomata running
- We aim to keep Accomata available at all times, but we can’t promise it will never be interrupted.
- We will tell you about planned maintenance in advance.
- We are not responsible for interruptions caused by QuickBooks, Stripe or other services Accomata relies on.
7.Limit of liability
Accomata’s liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 3 months before any claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses.
8.Closing your account
- You can close your account at any time.
- We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
- When an account is closed, its information is deleted within 30 days, and backups are cleared within a further 30 days. Records the law requires us to keep are kept for as long as the law requires.
9.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will email you at least 14 days before any important change takes effect.
