When something is blocked

New

What it does

Sometimes a screen can’t go on because something has to change first. For example, an AI feature is switched off, QuickBooks isn’t connected, or something isn’t part of your plan.

The screen says why in plain words and shows one button that takes you to the exact setting that fixes it. When it is fixed, the screen offers to carry on.

How to do it

Fix a blocked screen

  1. Read the sentence. It names what is in the way.
  2. Press the button, such as Turn it on in Settings, Connect QuickBooks, Add AI or See plans.
  3. Settings opens on the right card and points at the switch.
  4. Change it, then go back. The screen offers to try again, for example Ask again.

What if…

  • What if the button says Ask the owner?

Your role can’t change that setting. The owner, or an admin, can.

  • What if you see “Not open to you”?

Your role doesn’t include this. Ask the owner if you need it.

  • What if the page says you are offline?

Your connection dropped. The page tries again by itself when you are back online.

  • What if the page says “We’re doing some upkeep”?

We are working on the service for a moment. Try again shortly.

  • What if the page says it has been updated?

A newer version of the app is ready. Reload the page.

Common questions

Is a blocked screen an error?

No. Nothing is broken. A setting decides it, and the button takes you there.

Something failed and there is no fix button. What now?
