Privacy and your data
What it does
Your data is yours. We never sell it, or your customers’ data, to anyone. Your customers only see their own account, and your staff only see what their role allows.
Customer payments only ever go to your own Stripe account. Card and bank details are typed into Stripe’s form, never stored by us.
How to do it
Let support read your assistant chats
If you ask us about something an assistant said, we may need to read that chat.
- Open Settings → AI → Support access.
- Only the owner can switch it on. Anyone on the card can switch it off again.
- The card shows when support last read a chat.
Ask about your data
- Email admin@accomata.com.
- Say what you want: a copy of your data, a correction, deletion, or less use of it.
- We reply and look into it.
When you close your account
Your information is deleted within 30 days, and backups are cleared within a further 30 days. Records the law makes us keep, such as payment and tax records, are kept as long as required.
What if…
What if a WhatsApp number isn’t confirmed?
The WhatsApp assistant shares no orders, delivery times or money with it until you confirm who it is.
What if your customer asks about their data?
They can ask you, and we help you answer. They can also email us.
Common questions
Do my customers see that I use QuickBooks?
No. Their screens never say where your books are kept.
What do my customers’ assistant and Acomi show?
Neither shows record numbers from your systems. Ask & Order only sees the customer’s own account and what you sell. Acomi works within the role of the person asking.
Are delivery photos public?
No. Delivery photos and signatures are kept private and shown only to people who may see them.
Who runs Accomata?
